Bokang Relebohile Maseli has stepped into the spotlight as Miss Global Princess South Africa 2026, but her ambitions reach well beyond the pageant world.
For the young model, the crown represents personal growth, renewed confidence and an opportunity to use her voice to influence the next generation.
Bokang’s journey has been shaped by a gradual transformation. Growing up, she did not always possess the confidence to pursue ambitious goals. Modelling became one of the spaces where she began challenging those limitations and discovering a stronger sense of self.
Her mother played a major role in encouraging her to pursue modelling and remained a source of support as she progressed. That foundation helped Bokang develop the courage to take opportunities that once might have seemed outside her reach.
The Miss Global Princess South Africa journey presented its own challenges. Competing brought old doubts back to the surface, but instead of retreating, Bokang used the experience to recognise how much she had grown.
That resilience is now one of the defining qualities of her personal brand.
Bokang is also establishing herself as a creative voice through poetry. Her work explores confidence, self-love and personal growth, with Younger Me reflecting the distance between her past insecurities and her present sense of self.
She intends to use that creative voice as part of her work with young people.
Youth empowerment and entrepreneurship are central to her vision. Bokang wants to encourage young women with ideas and ambitions to take themselves seriously, believe in their abilities and pursue opportunities instead of allowing fear to dictate their choices.
Her plans include school engagements, social media conversations, poetry and public speaking.
Beyond her reign, Bokang hopes to build a career as an entrepreneur and public speaker. She wants her name to represent intentionality, ambition, resilience and the ability to deliver on opportunities.
The new queen is therefore approaching her title as a beginning rather than an endpoint. Her focus is on building a platform that can continue to grow long after the crown is eventually passed to another woman.
For Bokang, true success will be measured by how many young women leave her platform believing more strongly in themselves
