As part of the nationwide celebration of TVET Month this August, the Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) will host a Career Experience Roadshow at Letaba TVET College across all three campuses, commencing on 26 August 2026.
The roadshow is aimed at empowering TVET students by equipping them with essential workplace readiness skills, career development knowledge, and information on skills development opportunities within the transport sector and related industries.
The initiative will also provide students with a platform to engage directly with potential employers, industry experts, and training partners, creating opportunities for networking, internships, learnerships, apprenticeships, and future employment.
Through interactive presentations, career guidance sessions, and employer engagement activities, students will gain practical insights into the world of work, employer expectations, and the competencies required to succeed in today's labour market.
Speaking about the initiative, TETA reaffirmed its commitment to developing a skilled workforce and strengthening the link between education and employment by creating opportunities that prepare young people for meaningful participation in the economy.
TETA encourages all Letaba TVET College students to participate in the Career Experience Roadshow and make the most of the opportunity to learn, connect with industry professionals, and explore career pathways within the transport sector.
