Following the epic Joyous 20 recording at Moses Mabhida Stadium, MTN Joyous Celebration today announced that their 21st album recording Joyous 21 is set to take place in Dallas, Texas, USA in partnership with the acclaimed Bishop TD Jakes. After 20 successful years of touring the African continent ministering gospel music to fans, the harmonious ensemble confirmed that their 21st offering will be recorded at the world-renowned church, The Potter’s House in Texas, Dallas where MTN Joyous Celebration will collaborate with The Potter’s House Choir in recording their live DVD, in the USA on the 03rd December 2016.
The recording will coincide with an East Coast tour covering the following cities, New York, New Jersey, Baltimore, Philadelphia and Washington DC.
As the gospel sensation continually raises the bar in delivering ground-breaking musical experiences to their fans around the country, MTN Joyous Celebration is especially thrilled about this significant recording as they fly the SA flag high taking the gospel spectacular to the global stage for the first time.
“We have, in the past, received numerous invitations to perform in the States but felt the time wasn’t right so to receive this opportunity during such a significant time in our journey, a coming of age as we celebrate turning 21 is truly a blessing. We are thoroughly looking forward to creating an exceptional experience for our supporters; and to ensure our fans are part of the journey, MTN Joyous celebration will be releasing official packaging on 3rd August for fans to join us as in the USA for the recording”, said Lindelani Mkhize.
