Gospel Stars to Headline Fundraising Event at Emalahleni Dam EMALAHLENI, MPUMALANGA — Sediba sa Banna is set to host a Beneficial Gospel Family Picnic at Emalahleni
Dam on 3 October 2023, bringing together families, gospel music lovers, community members and stakeholders in
support of a worthy cause.
The event aims to raise funds and resources for underprivileged members of the community, while using
gospel music and family entertainment as a platform to inspire hope, unity and social change.
The initiative follows a community outreach programme held by Sediba sa Banna on 25 July in Soweto, Gauteng,
where the organization donated essential items to people in need. The donations included blankets, warm clothing,
usable clothing and non-perishable food items, providing much-needed support to vulnerable families.
Having made a difference in Soweto, Sediba sa Banna is now turning its attention to Mpumalanga, with the
organization determined to extend its community impact and reach more people in need.
“We believe that making a difference starts with reaching out to communities and responding to the needs of our
people. After our outreach in Soweto, we are now bringing our focus to Mpumalanga. This picnic is not only about
entertainment; it is about bringing people together to support, uplift and restore hope to underprivileged communities,”
said Nicholas Thipe President of Sediba Sa Banna.
The Beneficial Gospel Family Picnic will feature an exciting line-up of gospel music, with renowned gospel
artists Sipho Makhabane and Dr Rebecca Malope, among others, expected to grace the stage. Their performances
will add to a day designed to celebrate faith, family, community and generosity.
Sediba sa Banna is calling on individuals, families, businesses, community leaders and organizations to support the
initiative. Members of the public are encouraged to attend the picnic and contribute towards the fundraising campaign
so that the organization can continue providing essential assistance to disadvantaged communities.
The organization believes that through collective action, communities can create sustainable change and ensure that
