KAYA959 JOIN THE BIG DAY OUT FAMILY
Johannesburg, South Africa – The countdown to one of Mzansi’s most anticipated music gatherings of the year is officially underway. Oskido’s BIG DAY OUT today unveils its full artist lineup, bringing together some of the most influential names in South African house, kwaito and dance music for a celebration of the sounds that have defined generations.
Returning to Huddle Park in Johannesburg, the festival promises a day packed with timeless classics, unforgettable anthems and the unmistakable energy of a dance floor united by music. Curated by legendary DJ, producer and cultural pioneer Oskido, BIG DAY OUT continues to celebrate South Africa’s rich musical heritage while creating new memories for a generation of music lovers who appreciate the artists and sounds that helped shape the country’s music scene.
Leading the charge on the MAIN STAGE is an impressive collection of legends and dance-floor favourites, including B.O.P, Mdu, Liquideep, Trompies, Oskido, DJ Cleo, Glen Lewis, DJ Fresh, DJ Mbuso, Dj Ganyani, Nokwazi, Durban’s Finest, DJ Cndo and DJs at Work.
From the infectious kwaito rhythms that defined an era to the soulful house anthems that continue to fill dance floors, the lineup brings together artists whose music has become part of SA’s collective soundtrack.
But the experience doesn’t stop at the Main Stage.
Introducing the new NAMBA STAGE which will offer a deeper journey into the sounds of deep and soulful house, featuring Sir LSG & DJ SoulDiva, Dark Horse, D’General, Mr Shane, Chymamusique, Sculptured Music and Bobsta B2B Sabz.
Designed to complement the Main Stage experience, this new addition will create space for dedicated house music lovers to discover, reconnect and lose themselves in the grooves that have shaped the country’s enduring house music culture.
The team today also announces the formal partnership with media giant Kaya959, bringing an exciting new dimension to Oskido’s Big Day Out in 2026. Combining the power of one of the country’s leading radio stations with an event that celebrates the country’s rich musical heritage and enduring love for dance music. Through this collaboration, the event aims to connect with an even wider audience, bringing fans closer to the music, the artists and the culture that have shaped generations. It’s a natural partnership rooted in a shared passion for music, community and creating unforgettable experiences.
