SportyBet is taking the Crash Games World Championship (CGWC) to another level, unveiling an exclusive championship ring valued at more
than R25,000 ($1,500) for the player who finishes at the top of the CGWC leaderboard and is crowned
the first-ever Crash Games World Champion.
Created for SportyBet’s first global Crash Games tournament, the ring is designed as a unique collector’s
piece, inspired by the championship rings awarded across major sporting competitions. It commemorates
a landmark moment in the evolution of Crash Games and gives the inaugural winner a physical symbol of
their achievement. Gold-plated and set with zirconia stones, the exclusive ring has been created
specifically for the first CGWC World Champion, giving the winner something tangible to keep long after
the Championship comes to an end.
But the ring is only part of the prize. The CGWC World Champion will also receive a major cash prize, an
exclusive jersey signed by SportyBet’s ambassadors, and Free Bets.
In South Africa, the signed jersey will feature the signatures of football legend Benni McCarthy and
Springbok star Cheslin Kolbe, adding a distinctly Mzansi sporting touch to the rewards. These South
African sporting icons are among SportyBet’s ambassadors taking part in the global Championship,
bringing their star power and sporting legacy to a competition that connects players and talent from South
Africa and around the world.
The competition will also feature an international line-up of Sporty Group ambassadors from sport and
entertainment, including DJ Khaled, Burna Boy and Yan Diomande, alongside South African
ambassadors Cheslin Kolbe and Benni McCarthy, with a sixth ambassador still to be revealed.

The rewards will extend well beyond the winner. Players finishing second through tenth on the final
leaderboard will also receive cash prizes and signed jerseys, while the first 5,000 players on the
leaderboard will receive other prizes, making the CGWC SportyBet’s biggest Crash Games competition to
date. The prizes add another dimension to a Championship that SportyBet previously announced as
its first global Crash Games tournament, bringing together players across its live markets in a single
international competition.
“That ring is serious. When you see something like that, you know this Championship is on another level.
The first CGWC Champion is going to have something nobody else has, and I want to see who earns it,”
said DJ Khaled, Sporty Group Global Ambassador
For South African audiences, the involvement of Benni McCarthy, and Cheslin Kolbe adds a local
sporting dimension to a global competition, placing some of the country’s most recognised sporting
names alongside international entertainment figures such as DJ Khaled and Burna Boy.
SportyBet will announce further details on the CGWC and its full prize structure.
