WORSHIP HOUSE: TIME FOR US TO SHINE

The have taken South Africa by storm, known as the Venda choir. The group was formed by the former station manager of then called Radio Thohoyandou. They have been fortunate to be nominated in the popular South African Music Awards for quite some time but could not win the SAMA award. This time they are hoping that laduluck will be on their side. Speaking to one the members of the group, Norman he told Stokvel Talk that they won over 40 awards over the years but could get their hands on the SAMA award. Most of the members of the group consist of Xitsonga and Venda speaking individuals as the group was formed in Limpopo. “We thank God and feel honoured for us been nominated in the 2016 SAMA awards. This time we hope with able to take the award home” said Norman. WORSHIP HOUSE are competing against popular gospel artist, Dumi Mkokstad and also women in praise for the Best Traditional Faith Music album.
