The 2014 edition of the Nestlé MILO U/13 National Championships are headed to the “Jacaranda City” for an exciting sporting extravaganza at the University of Pretoria on 10-15 December 2014.
Held in partnership with the Department of Sport and Recreation (SRSA), the championships will see nine (9) schools representing their respective provinces in the U/13 boys and girls football tournaments; as well as a further nine (9) schools representing their provinces in the netball tournament which is split between the developmental and merit competitions.

We have been involved with the Under 13 championships for close to a decade now because we firmly believe that grassroots development of sport is the perfect start and we will continue playing this critical role in this space,” said Thabile Motsamai; Category Marketing Manager for Dairy: Nestlé South Africa.
Played in a league system with each team playing one match against each of the other teams in the group, the qualifying teams will move into the knockout phase of the competition where the winner will receive R150 000.00 which is to be invested in a health and wellness initiative for their school.
All the provincial winners have already received R10 000.00 for their respective schools and they will battle it out daily from 08:00 – 19:00 for the ultimate prize.
