Mobi Dixon is an East London born producer and also a house dj who is the fast selling artist in South Africa.The popular musician got four nominations in three categories, which it does not happen often and it clearly shows that he is a superstar. He was announced as nominee in the dance category alongside heavyweights like Black Coffee’ Mi casa and Dj Merlin etc. Dixon was also nominated in the category of Remix of the year. This category is not an easy one as it includes artist like AKA AND DJ SLIQUE amongst others.
As if that is not enough’ he was also nominated on the Amstel record of the year. The nominations are proof that the popular artist is going places. Speaking to Stokvel Talk, he was hopeful that he will emerge victorious. ” I’m already a winner to be nominated for this prestigious awards”.
Amongst the people who helped him in the music business since the beginning he mentions artist like Oskido and DJ Christos. ” I will dedicate my awards to the people who believed in me and can’t mention them one by one as they are plenty”. The popular house DJ also called his fans to catch him around Durban as he will be performing prior to the awards.
