The countdown to the MTN Joyous Celebration 20th recoding and performance enters its final week. This Saturday, December 19, 2015 – gospel lovers and fans of MTN Joyous Celebration will witness the largest and most spectacular production in the history of the ensemble.
MTN Joyous Celebration will mark its two decades of worship, making music and creating hits with a special celebration and recording at Moses Mabida Stadium in Durban.
As current members, alumni and friends of Joyous Celebration conclude preparations on their historic offering, fans and supporters are encouraged to make a rush for the few remaining ticket. Thousands of fans from across the continent who have already bought their tickets to the milestone recording are in for a treat next to none.
Though nothing can compare to being at the stadium to see it all in person, fans can join in on the celebrations and catch a segment of the spectacular MTN Joyous Celebrations 20th anniversary celebrations by tuning into SABC 1 at 20h00 to 22h00 for a live broadcast of part of the larger event.
This never to be repeated mother of all gospel shows will feature stellar performances by the current members of the award winning choir, former members who’ve since graduated to become great performing and recording stars as well as Friends of Joyous Celebration.
These include the likes of Swazi Dlamini, Nobathembu, Keke and Ntokozo, Nqubeko and Sechaba Pali. Other stars billed for the day include Hlengiwe Mhlaba, Dumi Mkokstad, Bethusile and gospel’s power couple Ntokozo and Nqubeko. Sharing in this celebration will also be comedians, pastors and motivational speakers all coming together to make it the greatest MTN Joyous Celebration recording and concert yet.
