It was announced at Emperors Palace on Wednesday afternoon, October 14 that the boxing year will end with a bang at the Palace of Dreams with Johnny “The Hurricane” Muller and Kevin “KO Kid” Lerena facing each other for the WBA Pan African Cruiserweight belt and also Lerena’s SA Cruiserweight title in the headline bout of “The Rematch” Box and Dine Tournament on Tuesday, December 1. Being called the grudge match of the year by many boxing pundits, after Muller beat Lerena on points in an action packed encounter in November 2014, the fight is sure to draw a lot of attention while the undercard bout between Paul Kamanga and Dair Zhailauou of Kazakhstan promises to be an exciting affair. Also announced to be fighting on “The Rematch” bill will be Dee-jay Kriel, Joshua Studdard and Cowin.
