Sun City to stage grand scale chocolate hunt this easter

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Sun City visitors can look forward to a host of fun filled activities over Easter, including an “egg-citing” chocolate hunt and appearances by the Easter Bunny and other colourful characters on Sunday, 27 March 2016.
Young chocolate lovers are invited to show off their sleuthing skills and see how quickly they can uncover the Easter Bunny’s egg hiding places. The festivities will unfold at the Cabanas lawns where there are lots of nifty, secret places for the Easter Bunny to hide his stock. The Easter Bunny will be handing out special treats to young guests between 08h00 and 13h00. The egg hunt will take place at 10h30 but little detectives are encourage to arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand for the briefing. There is no cost to be part of the fun filled hunt. Children will also have opportunities to have their photos taken with the loveable Easter characters.
Other highlights of Sun City’s We Love Holidays promotion include a decadent Chocolate High Tea at The Palace on Friday, 25 March, from 15h00 to 17h30 and the open air screening of the movie Zootropolis on the beach at Valley of Waves on Saturday, 26 March.
Sun City’s vibrant bars and lounges, including Luma Bar and Lounge at Cascades hotel, Harlequins at Sun City Hotel and The Brew Monkey at Valley of Waves will also feature free live entertainment on certain days and nights. The new Legends restaurant at Sun City Hotel will feature live entertainment from 18h00 to 22h00 every night. Over weekends, it is “Game On” time at The Brew Monkey, with live screenings of the major Super Rugby fixtures.
Those keen to visit the Valley of Waves over the Easter weekend (25 to 28 March 2016) can now skip the queues and avoid disappointment by purchasing a day pass through Computicket. The number of day visitors inside the Valley of Waves will be limited to 3 000 per day so booking is essential. The cost to enter are: kids under 3 (free); kids aged 4 to 12 (R85); adults 13 to 59 years old (R160) and pensioners 60 years and older (R65). Hotel and Sun Vacation Club guests still have automatic entry to the Valley of Waves and need only produce their room key.
Outside of Easter Weekend, day visitors need to purchase a Valley of Waves day pass ticket at the entrance to the Valley of Waves – tickets are not available via Computicket outside of the holiday weekend. The Valley of Waves is open from 09h00 to 18h00.
