Stand and Deliver boxing tournament expected to produce fireworks

Emotions ran high with threats, heated words as well as some pushing and shoving between Ryno “The Lion” Liebenberg and Thomas “Tommy Gun” Oosthuizen at a press conference at the SuperSport studios in Randburg on Wednesday afternoon, December 10, Peermont Gaming & VIP Operations Executive, Bob Yearham got between the two fighters to calm matters down during a post conference photo session. The two boxers, also pictured here with the gorgeous Palace of Dreams ring girls, Aobakwe Moroeng, Monique Bouwer, Kene Caroline Nhlane and Cindy Faul, will clash for the IBO light-heavyweight title in the headline bout of the “Stand and Deliver” box-and-dine tournament at Emperors Palace on March 21, 2015. The fight is expected to rank among SA’s best, which include the famous clashes between Gerrie Coetzee and Kallie Knoetze, Pierre Coetzer and Johnny du Plooy and Cassius Baloyi and Phillip Ndou.
