SA’s Top drumming group set to rock Sun City on Reconciliation Day

Sun City’s Valley of Waves will pound to the beat of a vibrant drum display by one of South Africa’s foremost percussion groups, 1st Project, on National Reconciliation Day, 16 December 2015. Part of the super-charged Summer Escape entertainment lineup at Sun City, from 11 December 2015 to 11 January 2016, 1st Project is set to thrill Valley of Waves’ visitors with their smashing drumming show from 14h00.
Using only drums to create what can be best described as ‘aggressive percussion’, 1st Project has truly made their mark on the local entertainment industry, continuing to captivate audiences with their awe-inspiring musical style, passion and vigor.
They have played over 2000 shows, toured over 30 countries, and been featured inhundreds of media spots worldwide, making them South Africa’s biggest drumming act.

1st Project is also the only drumming act to receive two South African Music Award nominations and win a World Music Award in China.

“This summer, Sun City’s Summer Escape is the place to be! Sun City’s vibrant bars and lounges, including Luma Bar & Lounge at Cascades hotel, Harlequins at the Sun City Hotel, Traders Sports Bar at the Entertainment Centre, will also feature free live entertainment on certain nights.
