Triple Distilled Irish Whiskey Jameson has partnered with renowned visual artist, Nene Mahlangu, to curate art pieces that tell the story of Jameson in a refreshing way. The artworks which are inspired by the 241 years of Jameson history were displayed at the triple award-winning Jameson Distillery on Tour, currently taking place at Sandton City Rooftop until 12 December.

Nene Mahlangu, who has created work that has braced the walls of local and international art fairs and exhibitions had this to say; “It is an amazing opportunity for me to partner with Jameson because this allows me to showcase my work to a new audience in the lifestyle and entertainment space. I appreciate brands like Jameson that partner with artists to showcase their work in unconventional spaces because they make art accessible to a wider audience.’’ she said.

Jameson Marketing Manager, Beatrice Marfleet says; “The partnership with Nene was an opportunity for the brand to bring their passion for music, art and spending time with friends into one event. We asked her to use her art to tell us what taste means to her, and her interpretation came out really well,” said Beatrice Marfleet

The Jameson Distillery on Tour Experience is a series of tailored, interactive experiences that includes comparative whiskey tastings, food and music aimed at highlighting the proud Irish Whiskey heritage that stretches over 241 years in history and how it has become imbedded in the South African culture.
