The 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, 16 Valve normally aspirated petrol engine in the new Renault Koleos was created using Renault’s expertise in Formula 1. This enabled them to build a powerplant that is not only powerful but also efficient, reliable and optimised to reduce the CO2 levels which make the new Koleos an astonishing SUV.The performance numbers by the engine are impressive, with power 126kW (@ 6000rpm) and torque of 233Nm (4000rpm).
Fuel consumption is an urgent for South Africans and the good news is that the Koleos will be gentler on your pocket with combined cycle fuel consumption of 8.1L / kilometre for 2.5 CVT 4×2 and 8.3L / kilometre for the 4×4.
