pandemic Covid-19 in 2020 is back to reclaiming its glory and giving the people what they
Known for hosting some of the best talents Mzansi has to offer, this year is no different as on
the 16th
September 2023 the Royal Gardens in Nandoni Dam, Venda will be the place to be.
The spotlight will shine on the majestic and great Thohoyandou in Venda, Limpopo where
the rich culture and music loving town will be the focus and house all South Africans who
will journey into the beautiful landscape and heartbeat of the Limpopo province.
This amazing music and lifestyle event has always set the benchmark in how a real festival is
thrown. From line up to the production, all is planned to the last detail. This edition will be a
special one as the last time over 25 000 people gathered at Nandoni Dam was in 2019.
This year’s slogan #AhunaUsala means just that, nobody gets left behind as the beat goes on
through song and seeing some of our favorite acts take us through a musical journey in the
hot and sunny Thohoyandou. If you have never found yourself in Venda, this is the perfect
opportunity to take a shot left and let the province become your home for the weekend.

Phalaphala FM Royal Gospel and Heritage Festival organizer Shandukani Nesengani
said: “We are excited to return after 3 years and plan on ensuring that we deliver an
incredible festival. The outbreak of Covid-19 meant that we had to comply with the law and
put people first. Now we return bigger and better with plans to continue where we left off by

taking Royal Heritage to the top.

“We would like to extend our greatest gratitude to our partners, Phalaphala FM and SABC 2
who again heeded the call. We invite the whole country to come and see what we are made
of in Venda. We encourage everyone to come and enjoy our world-class event, one thing is

certain #AhunaUsala.”
