The Palazzo at Montecasino has appointed Julian Joubert as the hotel’s new Room Division Manager.
He attended the School of Tourism and Hospitality at the University of Johannesburg and completed his training in June 2007 at Tsogo Sun’s Sandton Sun, where he was employed as a Guest Relations Officer, and “learned from some of the best in the industry,” he says. He then moved to the InterContinental Sandton Towers hotel as Club Floor Supervisor. Joubert spent a further four years moving up in the hotel industry and returned to Tsogo Sun in June this year to his new position at the Palazzo.
