The Vaal River Meander Wine Route, celebrates its 11th year and is perfectly positioned to be a charming reprieve from the humdrum of the winter blues. The Vaal River Meander Wine Route is on every Saturday and Sunday and Public Holiday from midday to 6pm. This year the 6 weeks of weekend wine tastings are scheduled from the 12th July to the 17th August 2014. There are sixteen different venues participating – with something for everyone, perfect for wine connoisseurs and even those who know nothing about wine but just want a pleasant well-priced outing where one will be treated to great wine tasting in relaxed and welcoming environments.There are 44 different Wine Estates represented throughout the 16 different venues with over 300 wines to indulge in.
