New Category sponsor to add touch to #SAMA22

Because great coffee and great music go together in perfect harmony, Nescafé has been announced as the sponsor of the hotly contested Album of the Year category at the 22nd Annual South African Music Awards.
Nescafé, has signed up as a champion of quality home-brewed sounds ahead of #SAMA22, which takes place at the Durban International Convention Centre on Saturday, 4 June 2016.
Celebrating piping-hot local music by a selection of dazzling newcomers as well as seasoned industry veterans, the Nescafé Album of the Year nominees are: Francois van Coke (Francois van Coke), Emtee (Avery), Nathi (Buyelekhaya), Tresor (VII) and Black Coffee (Pieces of Me).
The Album of the Year is regarded as one of the “top five” categories, and this year the contest is set to be as closely fought as ever during the 22nd Annual South African Music Awards.

The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on SABC1 from 8pm on 4 June, and features an array of out-of-this-world performances by the leading lights of South African music. Tickets for the live show are available at Computicket, starting at R350.
