Mr and Miss Rand Show 2017 add sparkle to the Rand Show closing day

The gorgeous guys and gals competing in Mr and Miss Rand Show 2017 will ensure that the final day of this year’s Rand Show is full of glitz and glamour.
The contestants of Mr and Miss Rand Show will hit the Rand Show runway at the Showtime Stage from 12h00 on Sunday, 23 April, wearing their best evening wear.
This pageant, organised by LimeLite Models, has some wonderful prizes up for grabs.
Miss Rand Show contestants in the 18-25 age category will be competing for an all-expenses-paid trip for two to Mauritius, courtesy of IOI Indian Ocean Island Holidays, as well as cash prizes and product hampers.
For the 17+ category of Mr Rand Show, there are return airfare tickets for two to anywhere in South Africa, courtesy of Mango Airlines, as well as product hampers.
All other Mr and Miss Rand Show age categories will receive generous cash prizes and hampers.
This year, Fujifilm will also be sponsoring trendy Instax camera and film bundles for the winner and two runners-up in every age category in both contests, valued at between R1 200 and R2 500.
There are six age categories for Little Miss Rand Show and Miss Rand Show: 3-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-11 years, 12-14 years, 15-17 years and 18-25 years. Mr Rand Show contestants will compete across three age categories: 6-12 years, 13-16 years, and 17+.
The judges will be looking for natural beauty, poise, personality, ramp ability, and overall impression.
Come and cheer for your favourites, and see who’ll walk off with the crown and other great prizes at 17h00, when the grand prize-giving takes place.

Entry forms can be found on the “Mr & Miss Randshow” Facebook page. Entries cost R250 and close on Saturday, 22 April.
On the day of the pageant, contestants must register from 10h30 at the Showtime Stage in front of halls 6, 7, and 8 (use Gate 2).

WHEN, WHERE, HOW MUCH?
The Rand Show runs from Friday, 14 April to Sunday, 23 April 2017, from 9h00 to 19h00 (last entry at 18h00), at the Johannesburg Expo Centre, Nasrec (GPS – S26°14.484′ E27°58.510). There is ample secure paid parking at the venue, with visible policing.
Rand Show tickets at the gate cost R150 for adults, R50 for pensioners, R50 for 13-16 years, R20 for 6-12 years, and under six enter free. Midweek specials for Tuesday 18, Wednesday 19 and Thursday 20 April only are R75 for adults, and R20 for 13-16 year olds. Open-air parking is R20 per car. Tickets are available at the gate or through Computicket. Tickets give access to a wide variety of entertainment attractions, but exclude rides on the helicopter and monorail, drifting, bagjumping, the fun fair, and refreshments and food.
