WBA Pan African and SA Cruiserweight champion, Kevin “The KO Kid” Lerena and Johnny “The Hurricane” Muller at the “Night of Reckoning” Boxing Tournament bill announcement at SuperSport in Johannesburg on Wednesday afternoon, May 11. At the press conference promoter Rodney Berman confirmed these two and Roberto Bolonti of Argentina and Micki Nielsen of Denmark would do battle for the Super Four Cruiserweight Crown which kicks off on the “Night of Reckoning” bill at Emperors Palace on Saturday, June 11. On the night Lerena will fight Bolonti while Muller will come up against Nielsen with the two victors fighting each other in October, also at the Palace of Dreams, for a winner’s cheque of US$60 000. The runner-up won’t go away empty handed collecting US$40 000.
