They have already captured millions of hearts with their music. This week, South Africa’s most loved gospel group, MTN Joyous Celebration achieved yet another industry record. MTN Joyous Celebration reached a million views on YouTube for their track, Hallelujah Nkateko. The song is featured on the album Joyous 19.
This achievement comes at the time the group is on a nine-city tour, to celebrate 20 years of making amazing music. The creation of the Joyous 20 album took the band to Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban last year, then a spectacular launch – a sold out 3-day Easter weekend festival – at Carnival City, Johannesburg. Next, they will be returning to Cape Town after many years on 26 and 27 April2016. Then on 30 April they will perform in an open-air venue in Port Elizabeth. The tour marks the 20th anniversary of platinum-selling self-titled albums year-in-and-year out.
The group remains victorious, down-to-earth, grounded, and committed to continuing their mission of delivering power-packed harmonies.
The million-views is a testament to the reach and power of MTN Joyous Celebration. It further demonstrates the power of their uplifting and inspirational tunes that can soothe the soul.
