\nTimeline Youth Club in Soshangve is seems to be doing the right things at the right time for the second
\nyear since its formation back July 2024.
\nAnd so far two of their events were a success and as the results they plan more events this coming
\nsummer.
\nAgnes Marumo one the co-founders and owner of Beauty by Nature Hair Salon told Stokvel talk,: \u201c we
\nall belong to a church choir and also a members of Paradise Ministry here in Soshanguve kk, but some of
\nus own business too.
\nSo a year ago we decided to expand from doing just music competitions as members of church, we then
\nform club to oversee activities we wish to see happening here in our township like sport, art and
\nbusiness that belong to our church members.
\nAnd so far we were successful in organizing Choir completion where eight clubs choirs came to compete
\nagainst each other, then later we then help one of our in launching her Hair Salon which operate at the
\nbackyard of her home,\u201dMarumo said
\nTimeline has about 15 members who meet four times a year and instead of contributing their own cash
\ntowards they club they embark on fundraising activities to raise needed cash for every event the
\norganize.
\nAnd at each and every event they sell food and tickets to make money for the running of the club
\nincluding transport where necessary.
\nPule Ngobeni sad,: \u201cAfter the 30 th June deadline most foreign nationals decided to leave to their
\nrespective countries and this left a gap in the market so I decided to open my food corner to sell Kota
\nthere.
\nAnd so far so good, I currently work with just one person at the moment and happy that it is the club
\nthat I belong to that help me achieve this, I therefore will make sure I donate back some money into
\nthe clubs accounts once I have more than enough to run my business.\u201d he concluded.
\nAgnes said,: \u201c This coming seasons we will be involve in organizing another events one is abt biers
\naround the township, we want them to compete for cash prize and hope we will get sponsorship from
\nlocal business.
