The next chapter of the Miss South Africa 2026 journey has officially begun.
\nIn a striking House of Nala creation, TV host, executive producer and entrepreneur and
\nMinnie Dlamini\u00a0unveiled the Miss South Africa 2026 Top 19. More than a milestone in the
\ncompetition, the announcement marks the emergence of a remarkable group of young
\nwomen whose ambition, intellect, leadership and commitment to social impact have
\ndistinguished them as voices of a generation.
\nDrawn from the Top 24, the Top 19 earned their place following an intensive judging process
\nthat challenged them to demonstrate not only who they are, but what they stand for. Through
\npersonal storytelling, rigorous interviews and purpose-driven presentations, each contestant
\nwas assessed on her ability to lead with authenticity, think strategically and create meaningful
\nchange within her community and beyond.
\nThe judging panel brought together some of South Africa's most respected leaders and
\nchangemakers: Dr Aisha Pandor, entrepreneur, investor and Co-Founder and CEO of
\nPandora Health; Shudufhadzo Musida, Miss South Africa 2020, global advocate and
\nstrategist; and Colleen Larsen, Founder and CEO of Business Engage. The process was
\nindependently audited by PwC.
\nTogether, the judges evaluated each contestant through a contemporary leadership lens,
\nconsidering qualities such as vision, resilience, influence, innovation, social impact and the
\nability to inspire collective progress.

\nThe final place in the Top 19 was determined by the South African public, with Sanelisiwe
\nDiko\u00a0securing her position through the Public Vote and earning the title of Fan Favourite.
\nAs they advance in the competition, the Top 19 will continue developing and expanding their
\nindividual initiatives through Empower Youth Africa (EYA), the Miss South Africa
\nOrganisation's flagship impact platform. Their work spans critical areas including education,
\nentrepreneurship, youth development, health and wellness, civic participation and Pan-
\nAfrican collaboration.
\nDr Precious Moloi-Motsepe, Patron and Chairperson of the Miss South Africa Organisation,
