This 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine work horse now becomes South Africa&#8217;s most competitively priced single-cab bakkies for its level of specification, priced from R 299 900.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201cWith the launch of the T60 Utility Single Cab, we&#8217;re strengthening our commitment to South Africa&#8217;s commercial vehicle market by delivering a dependable workhorse that combines capability, practicality and value for business owners and fleet operators alike,\u201d says Gerhard Moolman, Chief Executive Officer of\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u2060<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">LDV South Africa.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Producing 120kW and 410Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, the LDV T60 Utility Single Cab offers the versatility to tackle everything from urban deliveries to off-road job sites. Built to maximise productivity while minimising downtime, this model has a payload capacity of up to 1 170kg and a generous 73-litre fuel tank, along with a braked towing capacity of 3 000 kg.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">The T60 Utility Single Cab is available in both 4&#215;2 and 4&#215;4 variants, delivering fuel consumption of just 7.5L\/100km on the highway and 8.7L\/100km in urban driving.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">With an overall length of 5 395mm, a width of 1 900mm, height of 1 830mm and a generous\u00a0<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">3 155mm wheelbase, the T60 Utility Single Cab offers a spacious cabin and a comfortable ride. From a safety perspective, it comes with both driver and front passenger airbags, ABS,\u00a0 Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), differential lock, hydraulic power steering, high-mounted brake light and rear fog lamp.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">Additional features include Bluetooth-enabled radio, air conditioning and selectable Eco, Power and Normal driving modes, allowing drivers to tailor the vehicle&#8217;s performance to different driving conditions and workloads.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">LDV&#8217;s roots trace back to the historic British brand, Leyland DAF Vans, while today the company forms part of SAIC Motor, one of the world&#8217;s largest vehicle manufacturers.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"EN-US\">LDV entered the South African market in 2024 and has since steadily expanded its local line-up with a growing range of commercial and lifestyle vehicles.
