{"id":1163,"date":"2026-10-02T09:56:09","date_gmt":"2026-10-02T09:56:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/stokveltalk.co.za\/?p=1163"},"modified":"2026-10-02T09:56:09","modified_gmt":"2026-10-02T09:56:09","slug":"zhejiang-releases-quadrilingual-2025-2026-foreign-business-environment-evaluation-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stokveltalk.co.za\/?p=1163","title":{"rendered":"Zhejiang releases quadrilingual 2025\/2026 Foreign Business Environment Evaluation Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"gE iv gt\">Assessment Report on Business Environment for Foreign-funded Companies in Zhejiang Province 2025\/2026 was released in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, on September 17.<\/div>\n<div class=\"   \">\n<div id=\":q1\" class=\"ii gt\">\n<div id=\":q0\" class=\"a3s aiL \">\n<div id=\"avWBGd-20\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The report provides a comprehensive review of foreign-invested enterprises\u2019 assessments of policies, services and the innovation climate in Zhejiang, offering an objective basis for upgrading the province&#8221;s business environment.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It shows that overall satisfaction with the province&#8217;s foreign-related business environment scored 4.45 out of 5, up 0.22 points from the previous year and above the national score of 4.39 reported by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade during the same period.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The trade environment, human resources supply, financial services and infrastructure are widely recognized by enterprises.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This year\u2019s report for the first time incorporates enterprises\u2019 firsthand experience of Zhejiang\u2019s efforts to support talent and enterprise growth, improve collaboration across sectors, and deliver policy services.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It adds hot topics such as forms of industry competition and uncertainty over international trade policies, and collects enterprises\u2019\u00a0voices and development expectations.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It also provides multi-dimensional profiles by prefecture-level city, source of foreign investment and industry, detailing differences in the demands of various market entities.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">In addition to last year\u2019s Chinese-English bilingual edition, German and French editions co-translated and produced by ZICC were added this year and unveiled together with the Chinese and English versions.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Over the past year, the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Zhejiang Provincial Committee (CCPIT Zhejiang) collected 1,252 valid responses from foreign-invested enterprises across the province. It also held 87 symposiums, conducted 1,071 on-site company visits and 4,358 telephone surveys, and collected 695 comments and requests from businesses.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The survey sample covered all prefecture-level cities in Zhejiang and took into account different investment origins, industry sectors and enterprise sizes. The annual report was compiled on this basis.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">According to the report, foreign-invested enterprises maintained a solid operating foundation, strong investment confidence and high overall satisfaction. While taking a cautious view of the external environment, they remained committed to long-term development in Zhejiang.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A representative from CCPIT Zhejiang said that, despite a complex and severe external environment, Zhejiang\u2019s two-way opening-up continued to show resilience.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The report adheres to the perspective of foreign-invested enterprises and presents their firsthand assessments of the province\u2019s business environment.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Based on a comprehensive assessment, Zhejiang\u2019s comprehensive competitive advantages are becoming more prominent, and its capacity to attract, accommodate and retain foreign investment remains solid.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A representative from Zhejiang Daily Press Group said the multilingual release was a joint effort by government departments, businesses, media organizations and research institutions to assess the foreign-related business environment and share the findings internationally.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Group and ZICC will continue to deepen cooperation with CCPIT Zhejiang and other relevant units on business exchanges and international communication, sharing stories of opportunities and joint development of China and the world.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">At the event, the head of CCPIT Zhejiang\u2019s research team gave a special briefing on the report.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Representatives from the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, Zhejiang Gongshang University, the Hangzhou office of the Schleswig-Holstein Economic Development and Technology Transfer Corporation, foreign-invested enterprises in Zhejiang and municipal CCPIT committees delivered speeches on improving the foreign-related business environment.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">On the same day, ZICC and CCPIT Zhejiang jointly launched the\u00a0\u201cOpportunity China: in Zhejiang\u201d Global Partners Cooperation Initiative.\u00a0Since its establishment, ZICC has actively served as an international communication hub, working with CCPIT Zhejiang and municipal CCPIT committees, as well as think tanks, business organizations and foreign-invested enterprises, to build a global partners network.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">It integrates its websites, channels, overseas social media accounts and overseas partner media platforms to present China\u2019s economic vitality to the world through more vivid and internationalized expression.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">This year, ZICC has launched a series of activities, including Global Makers in Zhejiang and\u00a0Research Tour on Enterprises, with related reports published in China and overseas.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The event was hosted by CCPIT Zhejiang and Zhejiang Daily Press Group, and co-organized by ZICC and Zhejiang Economic and Information Center.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Nearly 100 representatives from provincial-level departments and relevant units, municipal CCPIT committees, business organizations based in Zhejiang, foreign-invested enterprises in Zhejiang, universities and think tanks, and the media attended.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">(Zhejiang International Communication Center)<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Assessment Report on Business Environment for Foreign-funded Companies in Zhejiang Province 2025\/2026 was released in<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":1164,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1163","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-international"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.8 -
