Published monthly in a tabloid format,\u00a0<strong>5,000 copies<\/strong>\u00a0are strategically distributed to community members actively involved in stokvels.<\/p>\n<p>As a proud member of the\u00a0<strong>Association of Independent Publishers (AIP)<\/strong>, Stokvel Talk is published by\u00a0<strong>Eric Phiri<\/strong>, founder of\u00a0<strong>Stokvel Media Hub (Pty) Ltd<\/strong>\u00a0and AIP Board Member representing Gauteng Province.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Phiri, born and raised in\u00a0<strong>Dan Village, Tzaneen, Limpopo<\/strong>, discovered his passion for publishing in his early twenties, inspired by his best friend, photographer\u00a0<strong>Lefty Shivambu<\/strong>. His mother\u2019s participation in a local stokvel motivated him to create a platform that educates and empowers stokvel members on how to\u00a0<strong>generate revenue and build businesses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Since its launch,\u00a0<strong>Stokvel Talk<\/strong>\u00a0has transformed lives\u2014many township entrepreneurs credit its\u00a0<strong>stokvel roadshows<\/strong>\u00a0as the catalyst for starting their businesses.
