October will be the month that will stage the most prestigious youth Under-17 tournament in South Africa – the Engen Champ of Champs, proudly hosted by Engen’s footballing partners Supersport United FC. This youth spectacular will take place from 10th to 12th October at the Nike Centre in Pimville, Soweto.With Engen ushering in a championship tournament for aspiring youth footballers, the Petroleum giants will provide the five winners of the regional Engen Knockout Challenge the opportunity to once again showcase their talent to scouts from Premier Soccer League Clubs as well as football agents who are looking to sign up young talent.The participating teams feel confident after putting on an awesome footballing display at the regional round which saw them qualify for this prestigious tournament. But will the debutants be strong enough to upstage the already decorated youth teams such as Supersport United, Africa Soccer Developments and Bidvest Wits?
Engen is also providing awesome entertainment for all football fans who will be attending the three-day tournament in Pimville. Musicians such as DJ Switch, Nadia Nakai, Kwesta and Dotcom will keep soccer fans entertained while witnessing championship soccer at its best!
