The excitement is mounting amongst horse racing fans and the well-known personalities and the nominated charities involved in this year’s Peermont Emperors Palace Charity Mile as race day, Saturday, November 1, draws closer. To heat matters up a little further for this unique event, which brings celebrities and horseracing together to benefit charity, the barrier draw for the race was held at the Palace of Dreams on Wednesday afternoon, October 22 with some of the celebrities, like Clive Maistry, Alfred Ntombela, Carol Tshabalala and at the back, Neil Andrews, Juanita Mitchell, Fiona Nay and Paul Buckby showing they can’t wait for race day to arrive.
