Bulgari’s own South African ‘Man In Black’, Dan Nicholl, kicked off his new television talk show on Wednesday night to great acclaim – and as an official partner of The Dan Nicholl Show, Bulgari played a proud role in the first show.
A light-hearted, fun lifestyle show, The Dan Nicholl Show in partnership with BrightRock featured 1995 Rugby World Cup-winning captain Francois Pienaar, former South African footballer Shaun Bartlett, and MasterChef judge Pete Goffe-Wood in Wednesday’s opener on SuperSport, as well as cameo appearances from comedian Stuart Taylor, and model and surfer Roxy Louw.
As the three in-studio guests, Pienaar, Bartlett and Goffe-Wood all received a Bulgari Man In Black gift pack, while the studio audience had the opportunity to sample a range of Bulgari products.
A celebrated presenter who regularly hosts major events around the world, Nicholl is also an ambassador for Bulgari in South Africa, and is a particular fan of the newest men’s fragrance, Bulgari Man In Black. With the television show now underway, the extension of the relationship with Nicholl was a natural one for Bulgari.
“Our partnership with Dan over the last two years has been a great fit. On an international level Bulgari brand has always been endorsed by prominent personalities and we are following the same strategy in South Africa. We’re very excited to be an official fragrance partner of the show and be able to showcase our brand to a wider South African audience” said Bulgari Brand Manager Kash Bergh.
Having an established relationship with Bulgari, Nicholl is unsurprisingly delighted with the television partnership.
“Bulgari is a brand with heritage, style and class, and some fantastic fragrances – my wife finds me even more irresistible than usual when I’m wearing ‘Man In Black’!” Nicholl said. “We have a great celebrity line-up for our first season of the show, and Bulgari is a perfect match for the stars we’ll have in studio each week.
