plate after Trevor Noah was
unfortunately forced to withdraw due to ill health. The news was officially
announced by Trevor Noah on his Twitter account on 21 October 2016.

The MTV Africa Music Awards Johannesburg 2016 will air live on MTV (DStv channel
130) and
MTV Base (DStv channel 322) from the Ticketpro Dome, Johannesburg, on Saturday 22
October at 21:00 CAT.
