The experience kicked off with five excited families meeting at Vodacom World, where they received their #AmakhosiFamily VIP suite tickets, Kaizer Chiefs jerseys, snack packs and goodies to enjoy on the way to one of the biggest football derbies on the continent. The families, dressed in their gold and black regalia, were then ushered to the bus, ready and eager to watch their favourite team in action.
Upon arrival at the stadium, the winning families experienced the amazing Vodacom Amakhosi Fan Zone. Family members were entertained with activities like foosball, PlayStation games, Vodacom competitions and an amazing display by soccer freestyle tricksters that really got the kids excited.
The families of two lucky Kaizer Chiefs fans, Nompi Nyembe and Nhlanla Dlamini, who joined in the fun at the Amakhosi Fan Zone, were instantly upgraded from the public seating area to the Vodacom sponsored #AmakhosiFamily suite.
The #AmakhosiFamily winners enjoyed a second to none experience in the Vodacom sponsored #AmakhosiFamily suite. The suite was fully catered, with popcorn, candy floss and slushies for kids to enjoy.
At halftime, the winners were taken onto the pitch for the Vodacom halftime experience where one lucky family walked away with an all-expenses paid trip to Sun City. The grand prize was claimed by Leon Mbele and his family who could not contain their excitement. “I still cannot believe that I am the one who picked the winning box at halftime!
