The trendiest way to get around
As the SUV and crossover markets in South Africa continue to grow in leaps and bounds, the challenge also continues to grow for automakers to produce standout vehicles. Driven by this, Honda has responded with a trendy seven-seater BR-V which satisfies both the needs to carry the family comfotably and the need to drive in style. Before the BR-V, Honda had served the SUV and crossover markets in SA with the larger CR-V and the mid-size HR-V. The BR-V slots in between the two, to maximise comfort and style without the buyer having to break the bank to acquire one.
Given its attractive design, specs and easy to drive mode, it would appear the biggest challenge to the owner would be how to avoid hitting the road! Equipped with an air conditioner and roof rails, it can get you wherever you want to go in comfort and style, be it for a city drive or a weekend getaway. Complete with ABS and airbags, you’ll feel safe in the knowledge that you can tackle anything in this versatile 7-seater
Space and versatility
Designed with style, versatility and comfort in mind, the BR-V features three rows of exceedingly comfortable seating. The second row of seats features a 60:40 split with recline option to give you the power to adjust the space for ultimate convenience.
The third row is a 50:50-split folding type with reclining options for extra comfort. For any extra passengers, accessing the third row is easy with a one-touch tumble lever that folds away the second-row seat. What’s more, the third-row seat can be tumbled forward quickly and conveniently to give you ample space for any extra items in the back. The BR-V Trend is fitted with fabric seats.
The exterior styling of the new BR-V includes Honda’s familiar chrome cross bar on the nose, accompanied by sleek-looking projector headlights. The BR-V is fitted with roof rails and 16-inch wheels are standard. The stylish exterior is further enhanced by a wide front grille, giving it a well-balanced, polished SUV look. The rear features a connected tail-light design with a high-mounted LED break light.
The silver accents and piano-black finish on the instrument panel, combined with the white-lit 3D speedometer with multi-information display, give the interior a sporty appeal. The BR-V hosts a number of added comforts, including an Integrated Bluetooth Audio Streaming System with Hands-free Telephone (HFT) and steering-mounted controls. That, in addition to the air conditioner system ensures that you are able to travel with comfort and convenience.
The Multi-information Display (MID) allows the driver to monitor all important trip and vehicle information.
The BR-V is offered with three trim levels to choose from including Trend, Comfort and Elegance. The Trend offers air-conditioning, front and rear electric windows, keyless entry, four-speaker sound system, USB port and Bluetooth as standard. All models are available in four very solid colours, including White Orchid, Urban Titanium, Alabaster Silver and Carnelian Red.
The sporty appeal of the BR-V Trend is further enhanced by the sleek, silver-finished roof rails that not only highlight its versatility, but its looks too.The clean lines and sculpted design look good in all the colour options.
