The RedSquare DJ KnockOut Challenge continues to grow infinitely.
Mzansi’s popular showbiz royal, Zodwa Wabantu, will MC at the media and
per-invite only launch on Saturday, 14 September 2019.
Somizi ‘Somgaga’ Mhlongo is billed to join Zodwa on December 16, 2019, to
co-MC and entertain at the must-attend DJ KnockOut final.

This year’s line-up for the RedSquare DJ KnockOut Challenge was mainly

Boston City Campus.
Over twelve thousand patrons attended the 2018 RedSquare Dj KnockOut
Challenge final at Dickinson Park, Vereeniging.

Following which they will sell for R180 at Ticketpros.
At the gates, tickets will sell at R220 with an extra R50 for a cooler box.
A BIT ABOUT THE RED SQUARE DJ KNOCKOUT CHALLENGE
DJ Shimza was the first winner of the RedSquare DJ Knockout Challenge in
2007. He has since become the biggest name in African show business.
In the DJ KnockOut, Mzansi’s emerging DJ’s are presented with a suitable
vehicle to boost their careers. The competition has participants challenging
themselves and each other to bring out their best. Previous first-prize
winners’ include DJ Kwanele, Dj Romeo DJ Divalash, DJ Pentse, Dj Lite, Dj
Khomza, and Dj Bhaze. Most of the winners were now living their dream.
Most have grown from playing at birthday parties, in their townships, to
organizing own gigs. Through such initiatives, they create employment and
stimulate economic activity.
