Last week the Ferrero Rocher Headquarters in Morningside, Johannesburg, was transformed into an odyssey of opulence for a soiree that had the entire neighbourhood buzzing in anticipation. The occasion? A reveal and handover first of its’ kind, iPhone. What was so special about it? The iconic phone is made of gold, 24-carat gold!

Flanked by displays of the luxury chocolate, Ferrero Rocher created the golden backdrop that welcomed the lucky competition winner Ms Peggy Mpande as she prepared to receive her grand prize. Guests were treated to delectable eats, as they witnessed the golden handover.

Ms Mpande was then greeted by Ferrero Rocher Head of Trade Marketing, Mohammed Uzair Abubakar, who walked guests through the brand ideologies, how they birthed the promotion and led to the creation of the exclusive experience.

“This is the first for the brand and we have been overwhelmed by the great response, the next competition will be bigger, better and more spectacular,” commented Abubakar. After the speech, an ecstatic Mpande was presented with a 24 carat gold iPhone as well as an exclusive Ferrero Rocher pyramid courtesy of her favourite chocolate brand by the Managing Director Mr Giacomo Ferrero.
