South Africa’s leading heavyweight champions are currently in training as they prepare for The Battle of the Warriors 3, SOS, happening on Sunday, 10 February 2019. Taking place at the Sun Arena, Time Square Casino, Pretoria, this will be no ordinary event and is guaranteed to be astounding with a fight card comprising of 7 sensational bouts infused with non-stop entertainment provided by over 80 Champion entertainment professionals.
Join us for a blow-by-blow riveting boxing extravaganza. Far more than a boxing tour-nament; this event has been inspired in response to the plea by all who are calling for reconciliation. This is a call for all of us to meet, join forces and stand together for change and in support of our country’s future.
A revelation and test of incredible skill, strength and stamina, our highly-respected, local heavyweight boxers will gather to face-off in an exhilarating battle in the Champions Lore once again on 10 February. With a Fight Card consisting of both current and rising champions, they will be competing across 7 exhilarating bouts ensuring it will be an event to remember. SA Heavyweight Champion Ruann “The Giant King” Visser and WBF Champion, Elvis “The Bomber” Moyo will compete for 10 rounds, which promises to be a test of pure brute strength and stamina. Luke “The Sergeant” Sutherland will return to the ring to challenge Justice “Venda Viper” Siliga. Plus, witness Josua “Red Beast” Pretorius test Kizito Rumhaye. Last but not least, further representing the 5th Element Camp, fast rising champions such as Chris Thompson, Ripfomelo Chikwambane and Denys Lazarev, will face-off in what is destined to be the most talked about event of 2019.
Jani Hebler, promoter from 5th Element Promotions, stated passionately “We have lis-tened to the people of our beautiful country, and we share their desire for change and conciliation, thus we are going to use this platform to shed light on issues that despe-rately require assistance, most notably our youth, who are our future” adding that “To achieve our goals we strongly believe that we need to stand united and set aside any differences we may have.”
In support of this incredible and passionate promise is 5th Element Promotions commit-ted to and joined forces with AFDA, South Africa’s leading creative school. 5th Element Promotions have made their platform available to showcase and develop the top stu-dents’ skill at the Battle of the Warriors Tournaments. Furthermore, 5th Element Promo-tions will assist in opportunity creation within the media and film industry upon the stu-dents completing their studies. Our tournaments will be used as an incubation hub that will assist in boxing development in addition to performance art, dance and other areas of interest within the creative economy.
As Hebler further states “There is no doubt that this event will bring together the best of the best. Skills will collide in an event of mass excitement.”
As renowned industry trailblazers within the entertainment space, 5th Element promo-tions have created an event which includes original choreographed performances from both current South African Dance Champions and Performance Art Federation Cham-pions. These dancers promise to entertain fans as never before experienced and when combined with the heavyweights will provide an adrenaline filled event.
The Battle of the Warriors 3, SOS, kicks off at 12pm, Sunday 10 February 2019, at the phenomenal Sun Arena venue at Pretoria’s Time Square Casino.
