CHALLENGE YOUR PERSPECTIVE WITH SCOTTISH LEADER
Interested to determine your authentic reaction to alternative views? Ever had your facial expressions digitally interpreted? Well, now you can, with Scottish Leader’s perspective-shifting digital experience that showcases an exciting range of provocative images by the visionary pop-culture pioneers Innocent Mukheli and Vuyo Mpantsha from Soweto, widely known as I See A Different You. This creative duo has taken everyday themes including beauty, masculinity and love, and captured a range of perspectives on each topic to express alternative visual views that challenge convention.
Through innovative emotion detection technology, your reactions such as frowns and smiles to each picture are analysed, from little response to surprise, in order to create an accurate portrayal of your perspective on each image. You are then served a customised video featuring the picture that challenged your perspective the most, which you are able to share on your own social media.
The theme for October is beauty, while masculinity will be featured in November, and love in December. The images per theme will also be shown on Scottish Leader’s social media channels during in the corresponding months.
Be inspired by Scottish Leader, in partnership with I See A Different You, in challenging yourself to see things from a new perspective! Go to https://scottishleader.co.za/iseeanewperspective on your mobile phone to access the emotion detection micro-site and participate.
