Casambo Exclusive Guest Lodge stands tall

Casambo Exclusive Guest Lodge is definitely one of the best establishments in Nelspruit amongst its peers. It’s is no suprise that it scooped few awards since its inception to date. This beautiful guest Lodge is located few kilometres outside Mbombela. All you can think of in urban hotels, you can also get in Casambo as the Lodge has 22-rooms, restaurant, an outdoor pool, and free self parking. The lodge also have a restaurant and a bar/lounge. For your convenience, a buffet breakfast is served for a fee each morning from 8 AM to 10 AM. Tsogo Sun’s 2014 Guesthouse of the Year winner was Casambo Exclusive Guest Lodge, chosen from among five worthy finalists as the programme’s most outstanding entrepreneur. She has won prizes of R10,000 from Tsogo Sun and an opportunity to attend Master I, The Awareness Process and Master IV, Master of Success from Beyond Coaching and will represent the Tsogo Sun Book a Guesthouse entrepreneurial development programme as an ambassador for the forthcoming year.
Casambo is situated on 10 hectares of land on the outskirts of Nelspruit in Mpumalanga. Owned and run by Carol Sanderson and her family, which includes her five children, the guesthouse was established after her entrepreneur husband planted the idea that she could be a successful business woman in her own right, giving up her life as a radio journalist.

The lodge boasts landscaped gardens and a swimming pool, complimented by the unique 115@Casambo venue. This is a multi-purpose event space showcasing a cigar lounge and a trendy VIP lounge, which can host a diverse events, from fashion shows to art exhibitions and poetry readings.

Social investment is important to the business. The guesthouse supported local women who do beadwork as well as the local Uthingo Primary School, providing uniforms and other school requirements for the children who come from disadvantaged homes.
